Piracy devisates the industry since when bootlegged copies of Films, Television Shows and Music. The main reason why it is frowned upon apart from being illegal is because in the case of films it takes away some of the money that is made from the box office as pirate copies are normally avalible soon after afilm hits the box office. I feel that the pirate copies of films takes away half of the reason that we go to the cinema in the first place as well as having a lower sound quality to what the film would have at the cinema.
